Acclaimed as one of Melbourne/Naarm’s most disarmingly honest and hilarious songwriters, Possum’s unique brand of hyperlocal folk captivates audiences with her compelling tales of regional Victorian towns and outlandish nights out in Melbourne. She is excited to share songs from her debut album “Paynesville Seafoods”, a folk concept album documenting the fishing town of Paynesville in East Gippsland where she grew up. Possum presents a modern take on Australian songs and bush ballads from the folk revival of the 60s, crafting humour and vulnerability to thread cultural narratives through time and place. 

In 2023 Possum released her debut EP/chronicle of local colour, Possum Bitter. It includes the singles "Night Out In South Melbourne" and "Bluestone" which have received airplay on ABC Country and across national community radio stations including 4ZZZ, PBS and RTRFM. She co-headlined a national tour with acclaimed singer-songwriter Rufous Whistler over November/December 2024 including Tasmanian shows at MONA and Willie Smiths, and throughout regional Victoria. She will be performing as part of St Albans Folk Festival in NSW in April 2026.
